My struggle with addiction started when I lost my dad back in 2018 to suicide and my life spiraled out of control. That is when I started using. I ended up getting on probation and I was still using and failed a drug test. I turned to drugs grieving the loss of my dad and thought it would help but it did not. It just made things worse. Since being at The Anchorage, it has helped me so much! The community is wonderful, and the people are everything. It has put me closer to God and Jesus Christ. I have needed this for a long time and am truly blessed for the people here!
